Established in 1963, the European Organisation for the Safety of Air Navigation (EUROCONTROL) is a pan-European, civil-military organization comprising 42 member states. It plays a central role in managing Europe’s airspace, working closely with national authorities, air navigation service providers, civil and military airspace users, airports, and other stakeholders. EUROCONTROL’s activities encompass the entire air traffic management cycle, from research and innovation to operations and performance monitoring, all aimed at achieving a Single European Sky.
