There are two car parks close to the campus with which Bocconi has an agreement

- Bocconi “B” Via Roentgen 1
- Bocconi “C” Via Bocconi 8

They are open from 7.00 am until 11 pm from Monday to Friday and from 7.00 am until 9 pm Saturdays and Sundays.

From Linate Airport, take Bus 73 (direction: San Babila M1) and get off at the Cinque Giornate stop.

From there, transfer to Tram Line 9 (direction: Porta Genova).

Get off at Viale Bligny — the conference venue is just a short walk from the tram stop.

Estimated travel time: 40–45 minutes
Ticket: A standard €2.20 ticket covers the entire journey.

There are two main public transport options to reach SDA Bocconi from Malpensa Airport:

Option 1: Via Centrale Station (easiest route)

  1. Take the Malpensa Shuttle bus to Milano Centrale (Central Station).

  2. From Centrale, take Metro Line M3 (Yellow Line) in the direction of San Donato.

  3. Get off at Porta Romana station.

  4. Exit the metro and take Tram Line 9 (direction: Porta Genova).

  5. Get off at Viale Bligny, which is a short walk from the venue.

Option 2: Via Cadorna Station

  1. Take the Malpensa Express train to Milano Cadorna station.

  2. From Cadorna, take Metro Line M2 (Green Line) in the direction of Assago/Abbiategrasso.

  3. Get off at Romolo station.

  4. From Romolo, take Trolleybus 91 and get off at Viale Toscana / Via Bazzi, a few minutes’ walk from the venue.

Ticketing: Malpensa Shuttle/Express tickets must be purchased separately; regular ATM tickets (€2.20) cover the metro and tram/trolleybus portions.

The metro system in Milan has five lines:

  • M1 (Red Line)

  • M2 (Green Line)

  • M3 (Yellow Line)

  • M4 (Blue Line)

  • M5 (Lilac Line)

For the SDA Bocconi area, the nearest metro lines are:

  • M3 (Yellow Line): The closest metro station is Porta Romana, located about 10 minutes by metro from Milano Centrale. From here, it’s a short tram ride (Tram 9) to the venue.

  • M2 (Green Line): The Romolo station is also nearby and a few stops away from the city center. It is another convenient entry point to the area.

Metro trains run from 6:00 AM to 12:30 AM, with replacement bus services available for M1, M2, and M3 after midnight.

A single ticket costs €2.20, is valid for 90 minutes from the time it’s first validated, and can be used on metro lines, trams, and urban railway lines (S lines) within areas 1–3.

From Milano Centrale Railway Station (Stazione Centrale F.S.), follow these steps to reach the conference venue:

  1. Take Metro Line M3 (Yellow Line)
    Board the M3 metro in the direction of San Donato.

  2. Get off at “Porta Romana” Station
    This journey takes approximately 10 minutes.

  3. Transfer to Tram Line 9
    Exit the metro and walk to the nearby tram stop.
    Take Tram 9 in the direction of Porta Genova.

  4. Get off at “Viale Bligny”
    The tram ride is short (around 5–7 minutes).
    The conference venue is a short walk from the stop.
