Description: Often referred to as “Milan’s Drawing Room,” the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is Italy’s oldest active shopping gallery and a significant landmark in Milan. Designed by architect Giuseppe Mengoni and constructed between 1865 and 1877, this elegant arcade features a four-story double arcade with a glass-vaulted roof and an impressive central dome.
