Magí Clavé Badia is the Chief Digital Product Officer and Deputy CIO at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), leading the organization’s digital strategy and driving digital transformation initiatives across both core and support departments. He also serves as the Chairman of the IMF’s Artificial Intelligence Coordination Committee. Prior to this role, Magí held the position of IT Deputy Director General at the European Central Bank from 2005 to 2022, where he was instrumental in the digital transformation of the institution. He was responsible for establishing the IT systems for the Single Supervisory Mechanism and maintaining operational excellence during the financial crisis. With a strong background in IT, Magí began his career at Siemens in Germany and later served as CIO at Deutsche Bank Spain for 10 years. His extensive experience encompasses technology companies, financial institutions, and central banking, characterized by strong IT leadership and vision.
