Lea Grubb Lonsted heads the Learning, Leadership and Organizational Development section for the UN Secretariat. Her responsibilities include overseeing the core learning programmes and supporting the upgrading of professional skills to the workforce in the global UN Secretariat. The programmes include leadership and management development, organizational development, training in generic skills and language training in the six official UN languages. Lea joined the UN Secretariat in August 2015, bringing with her more than 10 years of international experience from various HR roles in the private sector. She has lived and worked the Americas, Middle East, Australasia and Europe. Lea holds a Master degree in International Business and a Bachelor in Philosophy and Economics.
