Aldo Chavarri is a highly accomplished Human Resources professional with over 20 years of experience. His extensive career spans diverse global organizations across multiple industries, including fast-moving consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, retail, finance and insurance, multilateral finance and development, energy (oil and gas), and manufacturing/industrial sectors. Aldo has held a range of management and professional positions, leading and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to drive impactful HR strategies and programs.

Aldo’s expertise lies in the definition and implementation of strategies, programs, and human resources initiatives aligned with organizational business visions, values, and objectives. He possesses in-depth knowledge of the full lifecycle of human talent within organizations, including processes related to attraction and hiring, development, performance management, compensation, retention, organizational climate, and employee well-being. His professional footprint covers key regions such as Latin America and the Caribbean, Africa, Europe, and North America, providing him with a global perspective on HR operations and strategy.

Currently, Aldo serves as the Senior Compensation and Benefits Officer at the World Bank Group, where he drives strategic initiatives related to Total Rewards. His previous roles include Senior Executive of Total Rewards at CAF (Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean), Manager of Compensation and Benefits at Liberty Mutual Insurance, Director of Compensation and Benefits at Ferrero, Senior Manager of International Compensation at Walmart, and Global Compensation Manager at Colgate Palmolive. Across these roles, Aldo has demonstrated exceptional expertise in the design and implementation of compensation and benefits programs that align with business objectives and enhance employee engagement.

He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering, a Master’s in Business Administration, and a Master’s in Public Administration, equipping him with a solid foundation in both technical and strategic business disciplines. His financial acumen is reflected in his experience with organizational budgeting and procurement of services, ensuring the effective allocation of resources within complex organizational environments.
