Established in 1994, the EFTA Surveillance Authority is an independent body responsible for overseeing the implementation of EEA rules in Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway. It ensures the proper application of EEA legislation in areas such as the internal market, competition, state aid, and public procurement, safeguarding the rights of individuals and businesses within these countries.
