Lara is a global HR professional with over 20 years of experience in various facets of Human Resources. She has led innovative and transformational organizational development interventions that focus on building leadership capacity and capability. She also leads strategic initiatives that are focused on culture transformation and innovation. In 2022, she led the World Bank Group Mentoring team to receive their first-ever internationally recognized Gold Brandon Hall Group Human Capital Management Excellence Award in the Best Advance in Coaching and Mentoring category. Her passion is nurturing and developing others. Over the last ten years, she has mentored women entrepreneurs globally with the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women and the Daniel Leadership Program for high-potential minority business professionals. Lara holds postgraduate certifications from the University of Westminster (UK) and the Oxford School of Coaching and Mentoring and an Executive Certificate in Organization Consulting and Change Leadership, from Georgetown University. She is based in Washington, DC and enjoys, traveling, running, and spending time with her family.
